Beekman Printing is a full service printer providing business forms and colour printing for over 50 years. Founded in 1967, the shop has evolved from lead-type letterpress printing to the high tech computer age and offset presses which have given Beekman Printing its strength in the market. Meeting the customers’ demanding needs in producing a top-of-the-line product is the number one priority of the shop.
Over the years we have done our part in reducing print and chemistry waste that is associated with the printing process. Our latest acquisition is our computer-to-plate system which uses absolutely no chemicals in the process. We offer the choice of many different recycled papers, along with the availability of vegetable-based inks we endeavour to do our part in being environmentally responsible. Instead of plastic shrink wrap, we’ve always wrapped our product in brown kraft paper and all aluminum plates are recycled.
Through the Gallery of Superb Printing, we have won five awards for work submitted at a British Columbia level, and have won one award for work submitted on an international level. This prestigious gold award was for production on the UNBC Christmas card in 2002. The paper was complex and the printing process a challenge. In the end, we achieved excellent results and were awarded for our efforts.
Our versatile and experienced staff enables us to run efficiently. Quality control is important and every department in the shop ensures personally that this is achieved. We supply our clients with efficient professional services at a competitive cost.
